Before joining the fellowship, my technical knowledge was limited to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Through the mentorship, resources, and structured guidance provided, I gained proficiency in React, Node.js, and the MERN stack as a whole. The fellowship also played a significant role in improving my confidence: I would previously have rated it at 1/10, but today I can confidently place it at 6/10, with steady progress still underway. In addition, the fellowship introduced me to Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), an area where I had no prior experience. I am proud to have now solved over 100 problems. Although I initially faced challenges, particularly due to a language barrier that made attending live sessions difficult, I was able to adapt by leveraging recorded sessions, sub-storm discussions, and supplementary resources such as YouTube tutorials. Overall, the fellowship has been transformative, equipping me not only with technical expertise but also with the resilience and mindset required to continue advancing as a better software engineer.

At first, I thought that to grow in this field you just need to go deep into one technology and keep pushing until you become a pro. But through this fellowship, I understood that real growth means understanding concepts, applying them by building projects, and then moving on to new challenges. Along the way, I also realized the importance of consistency in coding practice and effective problem-solving strategies like LeetCode. Beyond technical skills, the fellowship introduced me to books and ideas about how the human mind works, how dopamine affects focus, and how mental health impacts our daily routines. Overall, this fellowship not only strengthened my technical knowledge but also gave me valuable insights into personal growth and mental well-being. The way it was designed provided a perfect balance between professional learning and self-development

TRANSFORMATION STORIES
The fellowship has been a great turning point for me. It helped me strengthen my Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) skills through solving LeetCode problems, which boosted my problem-solving abilities. On the technical side, I got the chance to learn JavaScript and have also started learning React, which has expanded my skill set as a developer. Beyond the technical growth, the fellowship played a key role in helping me stay consistent, build discipline, and develop the habit of continuous learning. I also acknowledge that I could have made it even more beneficial and successful for myself, but at the end of the day, I can proudly say that at least I tried and gave my best effort — and that journey itself has been a big learning experience.

Fellowship helped me gain confidence in my skills. For example, before the fellowship I knew the MERN stack and had made some projects, but I wasn't confident in my skills. After working on larger projects like the multivendor during the fellowship, my confidence in my skills increased a lot. Also, the guidance of a mentor really helped, because I didn't have to waste time figuring out what to do next. For instance, after finishing the multivendor project, I didn't struggle with deciding what to learn/build next since the LMS project was already lined up. So yeah, mentor guidance also helped a lot.

In this fellowship I have learned a lot of things in which I want to add that I learned web development for which I learned JavaScript, REACTJS and I also learned DSA and solved multiple leet code problems that helps me a lot to clear my concepts of programming and from this fellowship I learned a most important and necessary thing which is scheduling that helps a lot.I shall be very thankful to all the fellowship faculty members and especially Zeshan bahi and my mentor Faisal Misbah bahi who helped a lot throughout this fellowship. this fellowship has a great role in starting me up. I wanted to start leetcode but there was some confusion or fear I was unable to start things. but from sessions I learnt how to start gradually and in first it was difficult to think on my own but later I priotized my problem understanding and writing it's solution over my time. it sometime took 2 hrs even for some problems but I learned a lot.. and I would definitely remember this summer.
